Plain-language terms for using Velanox. The headings are summaries; the paragraphs are the binding text. If any clause conflicts with a signed master agreement, the master agreement wins.
What Velanox is
Velanox is a multi-tenant SaaS for monitoring and managing network installations, including white-label hosting, hub-and-spoke VPN, template management, and webhook delivery. The service is provided on a subscription or trial basis as described in your license.
Plans, limits & expiry
Each company is provisioned with a license type — Trial, Basic, Professional,Whitelabel, or Custom. Per-company site and user limits are enforced at the API layer. Auto-expiry warnings are emailed at 14 and 3 days before expiry. Upon expiry, write operations are disabled until renewal.
What you can and can't do
Don't use Velanox to monitor networks you're not authorized to operate. Don't probe other tenants. Don't reverse-engineer the white-label provisioning to impersonate Velanox or another tenant. Rate limits (100 req / 15 min global, 10 req / 15 min on auth endpoints) are not optional.
Ownership & processing
You retain ownership of all data you connect to or generate within Velanox. We process it only to operate the service. See the Privacy page for storage, encryption, and retention details.
Uptime targets & maintenance
We target high availability but do not guarantee zero downtime on standard plans. Maintenance jobs run every 6 hours and are designed to be non-disruptive. Custom SLAs are available on Custom licenses.
How updates roll out
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email to account owners at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Cancellation & data window
You may cancel any time from the admin panel. We may suspend accounts that violate the acceptable-use clause or repeatedly fail payment. On termination, your data is retained for 30 days to allow export, then permanently deleted.
